Denis and Joan Solari

Denis Solari (4.1.33 – 7.8.25) and Joan Solari (19.9.33 – 9.8.25)

It is with much sadness we advise of the passing of one of the co-founders of Solari & Stock, Denis Solari, and 2 days later his beloved wife of 71 years, Joan Solari.

He was a much admired and respected Solicitor in the St George & Sutherland areas and a pioneer in many ways in the legal profession. Many of you would have had dealings with Denis over the years and would know that he was a hard worker, putting long hours in and fought hard for his clients to achieve the best result possible for them.

As well as his work as a solicitor, Denis was a tireless contributor to community organisations including Cronulla Public School P & C Association, the APIA Club, St George-Sutherland Regional Law Society, Cronulla Seagulls Soccer Club, Cronulla Golf Club and the Owners Corporations of the various apartment complexes in which they lived. In those organisations he was a Committee or Board member and in many of them served in an Executive role as President or Chairperson.

Joan, alongside Denis, served on the committees of several of these organisations, dedicating many hours to community service.

Their contributions and achievements are far too many to list here.

They were proud parents to four children, and later enjoyed their role as grandparents and great-grandparents.

Throughout their lives they did everything together, and although it is a difficult time for the family to lose both so close together it is comforting to the family to know that this is what they would have wanted.
