I am a solicitor specialising in estate and commercial litigation here at Solari & Stock Lawyers.

I was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in June 2024, and have exclusively practiced in estate law, with a particular interest in estate litigation.

Why do I find litigation work so interesting? The answer, the variety of disputes.

From complex family structures, competing interests, and the unique but seemingly related facts that give rise to each dispute means that no two estate cases are the same.

For commercial litigation, the leap between estate and commercial isn’t big. Generational wealth, high value assets and varying business and/or trust structures that is prevalent today means that usually advisors and other third parties are actively involved in the clients lives and can also be the reason things go wrong.

My experience spans across Federal Court class actions against entities for misleading or deceptive conduct, District Court and Local Court proceedings seeking damages for loss arising from the sale of goods, and New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal proceedings for landlord and tenancy disagreements.

In 2023, I completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Business (Marketing) (BBus) at Western Sydney University. I also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2024, and am currently undertaking the study of a Masters of Applied Law (majoring in Wills and Estates) at the College of Law.

When I’m not at work, I can be found in the kitchen trying new recipes, at the gym doing high-intensity interval training workouts or taking my two Cavoodles on long walks. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Why did I become a lawyer? I was inspired by the character Annalise Keating from the TV series called ‘How to Get Away with Murder’. I felt empowered by her proficiency in her ability to litigate and resilience to not only defend her clients but ultimately herself. Her confidence and demeanour in her role as a legal advocate, in addition to her role as an Academic made me feel very determined about becoming a lawyer. Why then specialise in wills and estates law? Early on in my legal career, I was employed by Graeme Heckenberg, who I worked closely with until he retired, at a leading city firm specialising in wills and estates law. Graeme was my mentor and role model, having had a very long and successful career in wills and estates himself. I would not have developed my career into what it is today if it had not been for Graeme and I intend to continue his legacy by practising in wills and estates throughout my career.
