Riccarda Stock graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Law Degree in 1981. She has practiced in the Sutherland Shire principally since that time. She joined the firm in 1991.
Riccarda Stock is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Family Law and a qualified Family Law Collaborative Lawyer.
Riccarda is also the treasurer and a member of the Southern Sydney Collaborative Professionals (SSCP). The SSCP facilitates the collaborative approach to Family Law, which focuses on helping couples reach respectful resolutions of their family disputes in relation to both children’s arrangements and property division.
Throughout her career Riccarda has gained a wealth of experience covering a wide variety of legal fields. She now concentrates mainly in her chosen area of Family Law with a strong focus on Dispute Resolution.
Riccarda’s experience has enabled her to assist many clients in resolving their legal issues at an early stage. In particular she deals with divorce, marital property disputes, parenting cases, parenting plans, de facto property matters, child support issues, pre-nuptial agreements and other Family Law binding financial agreements.
Riccarda’s emphasis is in early settlement of legal disputes by sensible negotiations, collaboration and round table conferencing so as to avoid the need to take matters to Court wherever possible. Our firm offers comfortable mediation room facilities and Riccarda often holds interparty conferences so as to resolve the Family Law disputes by way of alternative dispute resolution and negotiation between the parties.
Riccarda also has extensive experience in other areas, including disputed Wills and Estates, contractual disputes and commercial matters. She has appeared regularly in The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, various Local Courts, the Sydney District Court and the NSW Supreme Court. Riccarda is a member of the NSW Law Society and on the register of practitioners in the High Court of Australia.
